Papaya (Carica papaya L.)

Papaya (Carica papaya L.) is a plant originating from southern Mexico and northern parts of South America, and is now widespread and widely grown throughout the tropics for its fruit is taken. Name papaya in Indonesian language derived from Dutch, "Papaja", which in turn took the name of the Arawak language, "papaya".
